YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS NETWORK, NIGERIA CHAPTER (Connecting minds, shaping Global Policies)
Today, our world continues to face a lot of challenges and Nigeria is no exception. Poverty and rural-urban migration, youth unemployment, climate change, lack of access to education for sustainability, poor air and water sanitation, low access to portable drinking water, high population growth, Hunger, gender inequality, etc.
The talent, drive, and innovation of educated and empowered women is key to addressing these challenges and achieving a better Nigeria and Africa at large.
The Young Global Leaders Network Inc. Nigeria Chapter is an international youth leadership development organization focused on empowering emerging young leaders and provide a unique platform for forward- thinking accomplished leaders in diplomacy, politics, business, etc. who are determined to create better future for all through diplomacy and networking.
The organization operates as a non- governmental organization in Nigeria, with the goal of raising young aspiring women leaders, provide highest standard of knowledge and skills sharing, increase participation and representation of young women leaders in politics, provide high level of networking, provide mentorship and skills training for the next generation of women leaders.
The YGLN – Nigeria Chapter will focus on seven core areas where there are urgent challenges and exciting potential for aspiring and accomplished young women leaders to take action, and reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
